- Fixed term of 3 years with the with the possibility of extension for another 9 months
- 75 % of a full-time position
- Planned remuneration: salary group E13 TV-L

The challenges
- molecular biology and biochemical work (cloning, mutagenesis, protein expression and purification, also with unnatural amino acids, labeling with spin markers)
- spectroscopy (time-resolved ESR spectroscopy and spectral simulations, fluorescence spectroscopy)
- computational protein structural biology (Rosetta Toolbox, molecular dynamics simulations, artificial intelligence methods)
Your profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in bioinformatics, medical informatics, pharmacy, biochemistry, chemistry or a related discipline
- experience in scientific computing
- Basic knowledge of biochemistry, spectroscopy, structural biology & drug discovery
- willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team and in collaborations with international scientists
- good command of English
